Most of our language specialists have four-year and advanced college degrees and are native speakers of the languages. Numbered among our language specialists are physicians, nurses, attorneys, engineers, pharmacists, university professors and executives. All have at least two years of professional interpretation and translation experience. Many are members of the American Translators Association, the National Association of Judiciary Interpreters and Translators and are certified by the ATA.

The majority of our interpreters have completed the 40-hour “Bridging the Gap” medical interpreter course of the Cross-Cultural Healthcare Program. Both our interpreters and translators are encouraged to participate in continuing education courses and seminars in their fields. |

Quantum’s linguists are an integral part of its quality assurance program that involves encouraging and using their innovative ideas, regular feedback from clients, monthly quality assurance surveys of clients, a check of all references and credentials, criminal and child abuse background checks, on-site evaluation of interpreters, proofreading, editing and final review of translations and certified in-house training and refresher courses to maintain the highest levels of customer service.
